This was my very first daguerreotype. It was a still life of paintings and sculptures. I created this daguerreotype in 1837. This is one  of my favorites.

This book is about my,how you say, bucket list. In it is the ten things I thought that I must do before dooms day. Well before I die at least.

This video is some what of a slide show that exhibits my work. It shows a few pictures that have been taken with the daguerreotype and it also shows a picture of the daguerreotype machine.

 These pictures are some more samplings of my work. The top two are daguerreotypes of Mexican civilians.  The bottom left daguerreotype is an American soldier. Lastly the bottom right daguerreotype is a Mexican cadet and a good friend of his.

This was one of my first pictures that I took with my daguerreotype. I don't really know why I took this picture. I think it was such a beautiful landscape that I simply had to capture the moment for future viewers!

This website I found tres interesting. It talks about my "battle" with Fox Talbot. He was a British man who claimed to have invented photography before me. Also towards the end it mentions a showing of an exhibit that shows other Fox, myself,and other photographers.

I love this video. But the young man made one slight mistake. The title of my creation was the daguerreotype, not the camera. Besides that wonderful presentation.  am truly flattered at how you deiced to tell my story, and what a magnifiqe story it was.

This is one of my most beloved pictures that I own. I feel that it captures the true essence of my work and studies, pretty serious stuff. For example I was  very serious when I created the daguerreotype. Unfortunately this picture makes me look very stout.
